Introducing Our Baby & Toddler Group: Chatter & Clatter

by | Feb 26, 2026 | Early Years, What's On

Chatter & Clatter

If you’re looking for somewhere friendly to spend some quality time with your little one, our Baby and Toddler Group could be just the thing. We meet every week in a relaxed, laid-back setting where babies and toddlers can explore to their hearts’ content, and the grown-ups can actually have a proper chat.

Each session follows a theme, put together by staff who have years and years of childcare experience. There’s always something a little different to look forward to!

What’s Included?

🌼 Free Play: A calm, welcoming play area stocked with safe, age-appropriate toys that get little ones thinking, touching and discovering.

🎨 Arts & Crafts Table: Simple, creative activities to enjoy together – great for tiny hands and very big imaginations.

🫧 Occasional Messy Play: For the babies who live for squishing, splashing and making glorious chaos with their senses!

🌳 Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting): Whenever the weather plays ball, we head outside for some fresh air and a run-around.

Good to Know

Chatter & Clatter is open to babies and little ones right through to pre-school age, so don’t worry if your child is on the older or younger end – there’s something for everyone. We ask for a small £3 donation per family to help keep the group running, but this is entirely optional and we never want it to be a barrier to coming along.

The Steading is fully accessible and pushchair-friendly, with baby changing facilities on site too.

When & Where

Come along and join us. There’ll be plenty of chatter, plenty of clatter and a warm welcome waiting for you. You can book ahead by visiting our Calendar page, or just turn up on the day. Our group runs every Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am in our Craft Rooms.
